What is XMLUI Portal?
XMLUI Portal – is a web browser page, which is created using a special XMLUI language. It is rendered as native iOS elements, but it still works like a browser engine. It is available on iOS based devices only.
Pros:
- If you turn off the screen, once turned on you are staying connected to XMLUI Portal.
- If you login to any website, their authorization session remains to be saved after reconnect/reboot.
Cons:
- When a website opened, you have no access to Forward/Backward browser buttons.
- Online video can’t be rotated in landscape mode.
What is Captive Portal?
Captive Portal – is a web browser page, which is used in a popular hot-spot Wi-Fi access points. It uses a basic mechanism for a network authorization. Using our custom developed DNS servers it is possible to enter Captive Portal over Internet with no hotspot needed.
Pros:
- Browser Forward/Backward buttons available.
- Easy re-connect by joining to your saved Wi-Fi networks.
Cons:
- If you turn off the screen, you need to reconnect to Captive Portal again.
- On every disconnection all Cookies are erased, you need to re-login to authorized websites every time.
